after a hard day of playing games, ben and i decided to head down to st. kilda beach to enjoy the nice weather and have some food. whilst chatting online to lynh she mentioned how much she missed me, so i thought it might be fun if she came along, harvey too.
apparently dave was going to come too but coz trang couldn't he didn't wanna be fifth wheel? dave! u should know better, ain't no wheels in our family LOL.
so harvey made his way over to ben's, we jumped in a car and headed down to st. kilda.
we were lagging behind lynh about ten-ish minutes, and the poor thing got lost in st. kilda. she had no idea where she was, and when we arrived in st. kilda we tried to find her. i admit she didn't make it easy coz she specified as her destination as "i'm next to the beach, and i see houses" LOL! such a cutie. the boys were getting so frustrated, i don't know why, we were eventually going to find her, it just might take some extra time HAHA.
and eventually we did. but she wasn't as close as we thought she was... *refer to map below*
so the astrix in the top left hand corner was were lynh was sitting - next to the beach and next to houses
st kilda beach is down the bottom right hand corner.
now it looks simple enough, but we did travel all the way down south past st kilda & pretty much into elwood. LOL. oh pumpkn u fail haha.
doesn't matter though, in the end we found each other and ended up going to the st. kilda sea baths.
was really pretty and so nice, i ended up choosing a place called REPUBLICA. great place, and coz it was a tuesday they had a special of $10 steaks.
the boys immediately set their hearts on the steaks, whilst me and lynh shared a platter of herb focaccia and dips, aswell as some wagyu beef satay skewers. food was great and the view and weather was amazing.
after dinner we jumped into the sand on the beach, took off our shoes/sandals/thongs (all except harvey) and dipped our feet into the water. was so warm and nice, i've found a new love for the beach and night in the summer. we all took a walk down to the pier and me and lynh sat by the edge of the pier and hung our legs over, i could touch the water but lynh only when the tide rose lol.
me and lynh were chatting away when we here a tinkling sound. we look over to our left and right and see ben and harvey both taking a piss! what the hell! pulled our feet out straight away and just laughed. oh man, how embarrassment.
we waited for them to make themselves decent and we started to head home.
WAIT! i thought, this was such a good night i must blog about it. i looked over to the baths and the scenery was so nice. PICTURE PICTURE i cried. none of us had a camera so we used ben and lynh's phones instead. the boys were so hesitant. i literally had to beg ben for his phone and we were half way down the pier before he gave in.
it was too dark to take a really clear one, i guess it's one of those things when you just have to live the moment as ben always tells me.
so a beautiful night enjoyed by all. next week we're planning on taking all the cousins out there so everyone can enjoy the serenity! can't wait!
