HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!

today my cousin dave turns the ripe old age of 22! so here's a blog just for him.

we've always been close since we were young. he's the cousin closest to my age, and i think from that we are extremely similar in many aspects.

personal style, music, tv shows etc we are extremely similar and in many other ways we are extremely different. never the less the boy make me laugh. we have our bad times and we have our good times. we're pretty much like a brother and sister duo. LOL.
the boy has an inner photowhore that only comes out when you least expect it. and you never realise he's there until u have a look back on the pic and see his smiling face!

here's for all those times you've stuck ur fat head into my pics. for all those times when i want a nice pic with you and you pull "wtf?" faces. for all the good times and the bad. the times when i hate you and other times when i can't help but hug you and laugh.

it's amazing how close we are and i don't think anything could come between our friendship/cousinship unless it was something as big as a pile of trangalang's toe jam HAHA! gross *gag*

so i've started to watch the first season of new zealand's next top model (nzntm).
not only did the first episode entice me more about me and ben's future trip to new zealand but new zealand girls are stunners.

there's a few things i don't like about the show. slightly more amature than the american original. i think sara - nzntm's host is a bit hostile and not really personable. the first show she was okay but now u only see her during judging and to be honest she's a bit of a cow.
also the judges don't pick up on how the girls dress during judging which annoys me the most. i mean what's the point of trying to get them to be models if they still dress like regular girls?
i've only watch up to the 4th ep - currently ep 7 is the latest - and i've seen the same sparkling silver dress in every judging panel. annoyance much? i mean... are they exchanging clothes or picking them out of the same wardrobe. carry bradshaw would never wear the same thing twice, and on antm one girl was told nah-uh for wearing the same thing twice. c'mon kiwis, you're not that blind are you?
anyways. here are my favorites for this season, hoping that they're still in it by the time i get around to ep 7!

christobelle.
a stunning 16 yo from auckland with a gorgeous face and amazing body. maturity beyond her years and she could easily take out this competition. she reminds me of a fabulous pixie which i love.





teryl-leigh
at 23, teryl-leigh has two kids aged 3 & 1. so much in this package, she's got a bit of a bogan accent but overall teryl-leigh's got amazing potential. she can rub the girls the wrong way which is amusing to watch.





rebecca rose
19 yo from auckland. she is unquely fierce with her slightly alien like features and her ranga red hair. she's dipped her feet into the modelling pool previously so she could be ahead of the rest.

13 girls... who will be new zealand's next top model. i'll let you know!

to miss k

SHIT SHIT SHIT!

i got so caught up in my technologic-cervic post (ranting about cervixs and all) and what bella can do that i totally forgot to give a special shout out to miss k (aka khrissa, that girl in the 5" heels)~!

ever since i got my phone, the first three days i was nagging her non stop with my annoying questions about the phone, three and the features i probably would've driven any other person insane. any form of communication, facebook, msn and text msgs i was all up in her business about my business - all because she has the same phone and works for three. why speak to an indian when you can speak to miss k? hehehe.

so she help me out ALOT. helping me with features, the internet, giving me tips about how not to get stuck paying excess for net usage and even helped me cut costs on my bill month to month. i must say this girl is awesome. me and khrissa hardly see each other, in fact i think we've only met a few times whilst dave and lasie were dating. but she's an awesome chick. we said from the get go that we were freakishly like twins, (only we both agreed i was the cooler one - even tho i'm younger, hey k? *wink).
helping me save for nz miss k is credited me and ben $15 a month towards our bill with a family and friends discounts.
she never got pissed when i would IM her a mass slab of text and questions, sent her ten msg replies in a row or nagged her over facebook and then she does family and friends? AWESOME.

this woman is one mighty fine woman, and her man matt, all the way up in sydney is a very lucky man.

thanks so much for helping a sister out miss k... you are truely fierceeeeeeeeee. :)
